Although one can say that Liverpool will almost certainly be crowned the champions of the Premier League at the end of the season, there is still a lot left to play for.

For many clubs, it is about cementing their berth for the UEFA Champions League next season whereas for others, it is about avoiding relegation.

The 28th round of the league comes at the right time, soon after the round of 16 clashes in the UEFA Champions League, and gives clubs the impetus to put their best foot forward and try to pick up all three points on offer.

So without any further delay, let us take a look at our top picks for the 29th round of the Premier League!

Top Premier League prediction №1. Manchester City vs Brighton and Hove Albion (Saturday, March 15)

Manchester City take on Brighton and Hove Albion at home soon after their disappointing 0-1 loss to Nottingham Forest last week. Pep Guardiola’s men have looked disappointing of late, especially while creating transitions from midfield to attack.

With the long-term absence of Rodri due to an ACL injury, City have lacked control in defensive midfield, which has, in turn, contributed largely to them making errors in defence.

In attack, while Erling Haaland has been in fine nick, he has hardly found anyone to support him off the ball. Still, the home team will have an upper hand over Brighton in this game.

  • Pick: Manchester City to win (-145)

Top Premier League prediction №2. Arsenal vs Chelsea (Sunday, March 16)

The most frenzied clash in this round of the Premier League will be between London rivals Arsenal and Chelsea.

Fireworks have always been the order of the day whenever these clubs have faced off against each other, and the same will be the case in this game as well.

Arsenal have high hopes of challenging Liverpool for the title this season, but it seems extremely unlikely to happen – they are second at the moment.

Chelsea, who are fourth, are fighting to cement their berth in the Champions League next season. After a good start to the season, the Blues have somewhat tapered off towards this time of the campaign.

  • Pick: Arsenal to win or draw (-476)

Top Premier League prediction №3. Fulham vs Tottenham Hotspur (Sunday, March 16)

Another London derby will be played in this round of the Premier League, albeit between Fulham and Tottenham Hotspur.

While Fulham have not historically held any advantage over Spurs, they have been in fine nick this season as opposed to the visitors, who have been pitiful and are ranked 13th in the standings. Fulham, on the other hand, are perched upon the 10th spot of the table.

Nonetheless, the likes of James Maddison and Heung-min Son will be the players to watch out for in the visiting side, and if Marco Silva’s side manage to keep them in check, Fulham will be able to pick up at least a point from this encounter.

However, the hosts will be rocked by the absence of Saša Lukić in this game due to suspension.

  • Pick: Fulham to win or draw (-345)

Top Premier League prediction №4. Leicester City vs Manchester United (Sunday, March 16)

Manchester United, for whom almost nothing has gone right this season, will travel to Leicester to take on the Foxes on Sunday.

Newly-appointed head coach Ruben Amorim has hardly been able to turn things around for the club, and he will face a tough challenge at Leicester, who are managed by former Manchester United star Ruud van Nistelrooy.

United have tried to play a three-man backline under Amorim, but this system has not worked well for them at all. Leicester, on the other hand, like to play on the counter, and this is something that United will have to guard themselves against.

Skipper Bruno Fernandes, as always, has been the player to watch out for, and he will be vital for them in the final third, making decisions and taking shots on target. Leicester will have to mark Fernandes tightly.

  • Pick: Manchester United to win (-116)

Top Premier League prediction №5. Ipswich Town vs Nottingham Forest (Saturday, March 15)

Nottingham Forest are currently on cloud number nine, having beaten defending champions Manchester City 1-0 in their previous Premier League encounter.

Striker Chris Wood, of New Zealand, will be licking his lips in anticipation of coming up against the Ipswich Town defenders, who have often been criticised for their inept man-marking this season.

Nonetheless, Forest, who are ranked third in the league table and are almost certainly guaranteed a spot in the UEFA Champions League next season, will want to pick up all three points as quickly as possible.

They will also want to bridge the gap between themselves and Arsenal, who are ranked second in the table.

  • Pick: Nottingham Forest to win or draw (-333)
