It is crunch time in the Premier League with three matches remaining across the table. Liverpool have wrapped up the title, but the excitement at the top end of the table remains in an enthralling race for the top five and the Champions League places that come with it for next season.

In second place, Arsenal’s place in the top four is secure, being five points clear of 3rd-placed Newcastle and 6 ahead of 4th-placed Manchester City.

Things at the bottom end of the table are settled with Southampton, Leicester City and Ipswich Town already relegated. The only thing left for the three sides to play for is their pride as they strive to appease their fans. Let’s dive in and take a look at my five picks from round 35 of the English Premier League.

Top Premier League prediction №1. Aston Villa vs Fulham (Saturday, May 3)

Aston Villa, who are chasing a top five spot, must win against Fulham to keep these hopes alive. Playing at home means that they are slightly favored to do the job; they have won six in a row at Villa Park ahead of this match. Unai Emery’s side have also not lost at home since October 2024 in all competitions, backing them to do the job on Saturday.

Unai Emery also has a good record against the Londoners; he has won all six managerial meetings against Fulham. In contrast, Fulham are stable in 8th. However, the Craven Cottage side are also in the hunt for a European spot with the Europa League and Europa Conference League places up for grabs. This will make the meeting at Villa Park charged with the two sides going for a win.

Pick: Aston Villa (-129)

Top Premier League prediction №2 Everton vs Ipswich (Saturday, May 3)

Everton, who have won once in the last five outings, will look to be the latest in many to take points off relegated Ipswich Town. Backing any side playing against Ipswich Town is probably a safe bet at the moment.

Everton should be able to beat an already-relegated Ipswich. However, David Moyes’ charges have won just once in their last nine matches in the Premier League, adding intrigue to this match.

With this being one of the last matches at Goodison Park, David Moyes and his charges would want to put on a good performance. This should not be a problem, given Ipswich Town have been poor all season and will be demoralized having already failed to beat the drop.

Pick: Everton (-200)

Top Premier League prediction №3. Arsenal vs Bournemouth (Saturday, May 3)

Arsenal are odds-on to seal second place this season behind champions Liverpool. However, the most intriguing aspect of this match is that it falls between their two-legged Champions League semi-final with PSG. Having narrowly lost the first leg 0-1, Arsenal will face Bournemouth with one eye on the second leg against PSG.

However, Mikel Arteta’s men have not been affected in their league form despite European commitments. In fact, Arsenal are unbeaten in their last 12 matches in all competitions before the loss to PSG.

Plating at the Emirates also bolsters Arsenal’s chances; they have lost one and won 13 out of their last 20 home league games. The head-to-head against Arsenal is brilliant for Arsenal, having won 13 in their last 17 meetings and are unbeaten across 8 home meetings against Bournemouth.

Bournemouth travel to the Emirates unbeaten in their last 4 league outings, albeit with 3 draws and 1 win. They will be challenging opponents for the home side, adding spice to the match.

Pick: Arsenal (+114)

Top Premier League prediction №4. Brighton & Hove Albion vs Newcastle (Saturday, May 3)

With the race for the top five at crunch time, Newcastle are in the middle of it with a brilliant chance of returning to the top premier club football competition in Europe for next season.

The St. James’ Park side are in good form, with 7 wins across their last 8 matches in all competitions. In contrast, Brighton have only won one of their last 7 matches.

The win for the Amex side came last weekend, but it failed to convince. Up against a poor and out-of-form West Ham side, Brighton flattered to deceive. They will find life a bit tougher against Newcastle given their current run of form and the heightened expectation of finishing inside the top five come the end of the season.

Newcastle will also be up against recent history; they have not won at the Amex in their last 7 visits. However, this run is likely to end here when the two sides clash on Saturday.

Pick: Newcastle (+133)

Top Premier League prediction №5. Chelsea vs Liverpool (Sunday, May 4)

Liverpool secured the title last weekend with a stylish and dominant 5-1 win against Tottenham at Anfield. Arne Slot takes his newly minted champions to Stamford Bridge on Sunday, and their biggest worry will be a potential title hangover.

Chelsea have not been convincing in recent wins against Fulham and Everton. They won convincingly away to Djurgårdens IF (1-4) on Thursday, but the Europa Conference League is hardly a standard when switching to a clash against Liverpool.

Chelsea, who are 5th ahead of the weekend, still retain hopes of a top-five finish. But they will come up against the polished and ruthless champions who will want to keep the good times going with a win at Stamford Bridge.

Pick: Liverpool (+220)
