Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown have been lighting it up from deep along with Jrue Holiday and Derrick White. They have easily one of the deadliest backcourts in the NBA, with stellar defence boards, and scoring potential that blows most rosters out of the water.
The only weak point on the roster is the lack of inside presence, especially on the defensive side of the ball.

If you hedge too far over the screen, a rolling Allen will drop the hammer on the inside, and if you sag too far, Mitchell will light you up; it’s a lose-lose situation for the opponent.

All the Cavs need to do is play inside and outside, capitalizing on the difference in the paint and kicking it out when the Celtics inevitably start playing heavy help-side defence.

While the battle is going on in the paint, Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland will be facing off against Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, which should make for some good basketball. All four players have great lateral movement and on-ball defence on top of deep offensive bags.
All in all, with the mismatch inside and Cleveland’s crazy momentum going into this game, they should be able to come out with the dub, given nothing crazy happens. Tatum may be able to carry his team on most occasions, but it’ll be a tough ask against the Cavs.
