The Premier League enters round 33 as the business end of the season kicks into high gear. At the top end, Liverpool are inching ever closer to the title.

Behind them, the top four race heats up. At the bottom end, things look stable with the bottom three looking likeliest to drop to the Championship.

However, with six matches of the season remaining, the churn of Premier League surprises will continue this weekend. Here are the picks of the round, involving Liverpool, Chelsea, and Manchester United.

Top Premier League prediction №1. Crystal Palace vs Bournemouth (19/04/2025)

A few weeks ago, with Bournemouth in the full swing of good form, this game would have been an easier call, but not anymore. Bournemouth’s form has declined; they have won once in their last five outings.

Crystal Palace’s form has also tailed off in their last two matches, including a comprehensive 5-0 hammering by Newcastle at St. James’ Park on Wednesday.

Palace have won four consecutive games at home, though, and they were unlocked in last weekend’s 5-2 defeat against Manchester City. However, the fact is that they have conceded 10 goals in 2 matches against Manchester City and Newcastle. But Crystal Palace are my pick to win.

Pick: Crystal Palace (+154)

Top Premier League prediction №2 West Ham vs Southampton (19/04/2025)

The safest bet in the Premier League at the moment is backing whoever plays Southampton, the side rooted to the basement of the Premier League table. Southampton are on course to become the worst team in Premier League history outright. They are likely to take the next step on this course when they face West Ham.

Graham Potter’s West Ham made a good account of themselves in the narrow 2-1 defeat at Anfield last weekend. They will be the favorites to take a win against Southampton.

Pick: West Ham (-197)

Top Premier League prediction №3. Fulham vs Chelsea (20/04/2025)

Chelsea are fast-developing a reputation as the Premier League’s most mercurial side. They only avoided defeat last weekend at home to Ipswich after a second-half turnaround.

To complicate matters for their top-four race, they played a massive Europa Conference  League game against Legia Warszawa in midweek. The Thursday fixture could leave them fatigued for the short trip to Craven Cottage.

Fulham won the reverse fixture 2-1 at Stamford Bridge. Fulham’s broad outlook shows that they have won twice and lost three times in their last five. However, they tend to turn up for the derby, especially against Chelsea.

Pick: Fulham (+185)

Top Premier League prediction №4. Manchester United vs Wolverhampton Wanderers (20/04/2025)

Wolves do not have a good record at Old Trafford. However, they will be coming up against an out-of-sorts and low-confidence Manchester United side. The home side played 120 minutes in their 5-4 win against Lyon, a game that saw them stretch to their limits.

Additionally, United manager Ruben Amorim indicated that the team’s focus will now be on the Europa League, with youngsters given more opportunities in the Premier League. With nothing to play for, Manchester United will head into the match with a mental disadvantage.

Wolves were convincing winners over Spurs last weekend, which means they have four consecutive Premier League wins. To add spice to this match, Wolves won the reverse fixture 2-0. Manchester United have found life difficult in front of the Old Trafford crowd, winning just two of their last nine home league games.

Pick: Wolves (+270)

Top Premier League prediction №5. Leicester City vs Liverpool (20/04/2025)

Similar to Southampton, Leicester have become a reliable bet for punters; backing any team playing against Leicester City has become somewhat of a safe bet. However, they bucked this trend by getting a point against Brighton last weekend, which ended a run of nine consecutive league defeats.

However, their home record is dismal; they have lost eight games in a row without scoring a goal. Up next for them are leaders Liverpool, who are potentially one win away from winning the title.

Depending on Arsenal’s result at Ipswich, Liverpool could win the League at the King Power Stadium. Arne Slot’s side have not dropped a point against a side sitting 15th or lower, which makes them a safe football pick.

Pick: Liverpool (-417)
