There is some exciting news for the football fans in Brazil and Chile as 20Bet has signed former footballers Gilberto Silva and Marc Gonzalez as the LATAM Brand Ambassadors for their promotions and campaigns in the two countries.
Both were two of the top players during their playing days. Silva is mostly known for his stint with Arsenal in the English Premier League between 2002 and 2008, during which he made 170 appearances and scored 17 goals. The defensive midfielder also made 93 appearances for Brazil and netted three goals.
Silva won the FIFA World Cup with Brazil in 2002, Copa America in 2007 and FIFA Confederations Cup in 2005 and 2009. He also won a Premier League title with Arsenal in 2003-04, the FA Cup twice in 2002-03 and 2004-05 and the Community Shield also twice in 2002 and 2004.
Gonzalez, on the other hand, is mostly known for his stints with English Premier League Giants Liverpool and Russian Premier League team CSKA Moscow. He made 25 appearances for Liverpool between 2006 and 2007 and won the FA Community Shield with them. Liverpool also finished as the runner-up in the UEFA Champions League in that period.
The midfielder was even more successful with CSKA Moscow. Gonzalez won the Russian Premier League twice with them in 2012-13 and 2013-14, the Russian Cup twice in 2010-11 and 2012-13 and also the Russian Super Cup in 2013. During his whole career, Gonzalez played for 10 clubs and scored 62 goals in 274 appearances.
Gonzalez also made 56 appearances for Chile and scored six goals for them. His most memorable moment with the national team came when he won the Copa America with them in 2016.
Their achievements make it evident why 20Bet have opted to sign them as the brand ambassadors. They are well-known names, both in their respective countries and in the world over, and are expected to maximize the brand’s efforts in LATAM by influencing their campaigns there positively.
20Bet is on its way to becoming a major bookmaker in Latin America. They are offering a handsome welcome bonus already and are expected to roll out more offers and promotions now that they have roped in Silva and Gonzalez.
